I’m Chad Van Meter. I have been working with and developing students and creatives for over 25 years (don’t do the math). I am consumed with the inner journey of the artist and have been incessantly reading, writing, and stewing on the creative process most of my life. I am a serial entrepreneur (Input #1 strength), a songwriter and performer, a father of five and a husband of one ;-).
I love working with creatives mostly because I am one. I ask no one to go on terrain that I myself will not tread. Let’s go together...

How It Started…
TheInspired.Co started in 2014 with a conversation (as most things do). I was meeting with my good friend and collaborator Henry. I was expressing my immense frustration with Fort Wayne. Nothing cool happens here. There are no creatives. There is no future in this town.
As I was ranting (true story!) a young man comes over to our table as says, “excuse me…
…guys, sorry to interrupt. We just started a new film company in town and are always looking for extras and you guys have a cool look. Would you ever be willing to be in a film?”
I thought I was in a film at this point. I was looking for the cameras. It was too crazy. I was just raving about how nothing creative happens and this kid comes over saying he is doing something cool. Wow was a I wrong!
