Inner Explorers
Inside us all is a desire to explore. To find new lands. To get to something undiscovered, before anyone else. We all are pirates in one form or another. But whether we do that exploring in the external, outer world, OR in the internal inner one is a matter of great distinction.
We need both!
One sort leads to great scientific discoveries, technological advances, and so on. Good, important things. But the other leads to inner understanding, spiritual breakthroughs, realizations about our deepest fears and loves - deep, invisible principles.
Both are needed.
But we all must take the path inside, whether we want to or not. Eventually. We all must wrestle with our own existence, feuding with our own conscience. Wrestling with inevitable questions like: Where does my path lead? How much should I push to get there? When is it time to rest?
And a perennial question for the human journey: how will I know when I’ve arrived to where we I’m going?
These are the questions that require an entrance fee to get in. But we must do it. We must buy the ticket. There is no opting out. For only in going in can we correctly see how to go out. Working from within allows us to more acutely and accurately see the reality without.
There is a magic reciprocity here.
When the outside starts looking like the inside is when things really start to get interesting. Reality starts to resemble our imagination. We are liberated into a state of being something like resolved gratitude. We start to see beauty everywhere. Things are good.
We can’t take credit for this alignment. Something clicks. We are situated. Moved forward. Moved into the next phase of life. We are grateful to have received such transmissions. We can take pride in mining the insights. But they are not ours. They belong to God.
We are only the conduit. As such we are part of a system. We are connected to the Source. We become an essential part of its will being realized. Yet we are not in control. We are not directing. We simply belong. Happy to be connected to the very flow of life.
To the Source. To the real thing. There is nothing like that alignment. That sweet ease. That precious circuit that takes the energy around the current’s loops. Converted. Not created. Like energy itself. It just is. Only in us. Stored. Ready. Willing. Even hoping.
That is the beauty of creating. We are accessing and arranging what already is. In this way creating is the ultimate act of gratitude. Recognizing what is. Starting there. Seeing it differently. Being grateful. Seeing a future form in what is there now.
Defiant hope.
Breakthrough. The click. Yes! It’s the order of creation. God separating the light from the darkness. The light was already there. The Creator pulled it out. Moved it. Understood and unlocked its potential. That is our work. Separating and arranging what is already there to make something new.
Or to grasp in a new way an existing dilemma or challenge. To bring to light some new reality. Some deeper reality. Some nuanced way of thinking that may be innate but unspoken. To articulate. To bring to the forefront what before was only vaguely in the background.
This is the work of the creative entrepreneur. Getting to it. To the real thing. The underlying thing. The true thing. To speak clearly. This is when power is released. For the deep, dark realities in us are also in you others.
When we share them, something magical happens. Reciprocity. New growth begins.
